5 best Mavuika team comps in Genshin Impact

Mavuika — the Pyro Archon — is a new 5-Star Pyro character released in Genshin Impact 5.3. Being the Archon of Natlan, Mavuika is a very strong unit, with her weapon of choice being a Claymore. Mavuika can be used either as an on-field unit or an off-field sub-DPS character. Since Mavuika's Elemental Burst is reliant on "Fighting Spirit," gained via Nightsoul Points (instead of the standard Energy-reliant bursts), Mavuika's best teams include those with Natlan characters who can activate their Nightsoul's Blessing mode and gather Fighting Spirit for Mavuika.

Top 5 Mavuika team compositions in Genshin Impact

1) Mavuika, Citlali, Xilonen, Bennett

This team is definitely Mavuika's best on-field DPS team. Not only does this team have two characters from Natlan who can quickly generate Nightsoul Points for Mavuika's burst, but Cryo unit Citlali's presence in the team ensures a decent number of Melt reactions can also be triggered. Furthermore, Bennett and Xilonen can buff Mavuika's damage immensely, further boosting her overall DMG output.

2) Mavuika, Furina, Xilonen, Bennett

In case you haven't pulled for Citlali, you can easily replace her with Furina on your team. Furina is a top-tier support character, making this team a Mavuika hypercarry with the Pyro Archon as DPS and three of the best in-game supports boosting her damage. Furina's addition to this team will also let you trigger Vaporize reactions with huge amounts of frontloaded damage.

3) Mavuika, Chevreuse, Ororon, Bennett

If you don't have either Xilonen or Citlali but still want to play Mavuika in an on-field role, this Overloaded team is a viable choice for you. This team is rather F2P player-friendly, due to Chevreuse, Ororon, and Bennett all being 4-star characters. Moreover, Natlan character Ororon's presence in the team ensures that Mavuika can still gain Fighting Spirit points for her Elemental Burst fairly quickly.

Do keep in mind that Ororon needs to be on a full Elemental Mastery-focused build in this team to boost the Overloaded reaction damage.

4) Mavuika, Mualani, Xilonen, Kazuha

This is Mavuika's best off-field sub-DPS team, where she acts as the Pyro applicator for Mualani. Mavuika has decent Pyro application via her Elemental Skill, making it easy for Hydro unit Mualani to trigger constant Vaporize reactions. Additionally, Xilonen and Kazuha are both great supports who can buff both Mavuika and Mualani, further increasing the entire team's overall damage output.

5) Mavuika, Kinich, Emilie, Bennett

Mavuika can also work as a great off-field sub-DPS unit in a Kinich-Emilie burning team. Mavuika's Elemental Skill combined with Bennett's Elemental Burst can provide steady Pyro application to keep the Burning aura going for Kinich and Emilie. For this team composition, it would be better to equip Mavuika with a 4-piece Hero of the Scroll of Cinder City artifact set for better support capabilities.
