The content creator was renowned for his Brickcraft pack, which replicated a LEGO world in Mojang's sandbox game, and his engaging YouTube videos. Through his content, he built a large network of support.

Who was Minecraft YouTuber AlexTestria?

Alex Bauerndistel, popularly known as AlexTestria, was a Minecraft modder and resource pack creator, known for his Brickcraft texture pack, which recreated the world of LEGO in the game. He also gained fame for his engaging YouTube videos that feature gameplay, tips, and more.

In 2022, AlexTestria was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer affecting his lower body. He launched a Patreon account featuring resource packs to help cover the medical costs of his treatment. However, in August 2024, he informed fans that the cancer had returned and spread to other parts of his body.

Despite the terminal prognosis, AlexTestria remained active in the Minecraft community through his Discord server, which boasts over 6000 members. On this server, his partner AleinaTestria shared the news of his death on December 15, 2024.

The gaming community, including popular content creator Phoenix SC, offered an outpouring of support and kind words for the bereaved.

In a statement on the Discord server, AlexTestria's partner, AleinaTestria, expressed gratitude to the community for their support and stated her intention to continue the YouTuber's legacy through the Brickcraft project:

"I will do everything I can to keep his legacy alive. After the funeral, I’ll sit down with the team to finalize our plans and will share more details with you soon."
